GREAT FALLS — The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter is participating this weekend in a national campaign called “Clear The Shelters.” The event is designed to promote adoptions and “clear the shelters” by finding forever homes for pets. A press release from the City says that while the national event is slated for one day (August 17), the Great Falls Animal Shelter will be hosting a two-day event on Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on each day. The shelter will be closed on Thursday, August 15, to prepare for the two-day event. During the event, the Shelter is offering an adoption promotion where all cats and dogs can be adopted for only $10 plus a donation of your choice. The low adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and a nametag for all pets four months old and older.
