Designed as “an eco-conscious alternative to the sea of plastics on the market”, one company’s bamboo wireless earbuds are positioned to rival Apple’s immensely popular AirPods.

House of Marley, known for its eco-friendly and sustainable speakers and headphones, has released its first set of wireless earbuds, which are made of bamboo, recycled aluminum, and natural wood fibre composite made from sawdust.

The Liberate Air earphones feature impressive specs: Nine hours of battery life, a charging case that provides an additional 32 hours of use, touch controls, and an option to add Apple’s Siri. They’re also sweat-proof.

House of Marley will donate a portion of each sale to a non-profit called One Tree Planed, which supports global reforestation.

As of right now, the earbuds are sold out on the company’s website. Each pair is selling for $149.
